In February and March 2018 DTM Libya interviewed 1,360 key informants across 100 Baladiyas and 657 Muhallas. A total of 184,612 IDPs were identified. The threat of violence from conflict and the presence of armed groups was the main driver of displacement for 65% of the displaced population. 84% of IDPs live in self-paid accommodations. In addition, a total of 368,583 returnees were identified. The shelter for 94% of returnees is their previous home.
